First and the most imporant thing you have to do is getting control of your hand. Practice on door handles and cups. When you master this step, prepare to grab the mouse - that's the thing that's lying in front of you - and train with it for a couple of minutes, try to move the cursor on different parts of picture on your magic screen.

Then, when you are in-game you have to skillfully move the mouse cursor the arrow on your screen in the upper right corner and go to the menu. After this exhausting step, there comes another great challenge!

You have to move the cursor on the "Save a game" button! When you succesfully accomplished this, you have to click on appropriate save number. Congratulations, it should not take you more than 3 hours. Last edited by Jazz ; 21 Jun, am. But it shouldn't be problem if the installation folder is somewhere else.

If it still doesn't work: Is the seperate drive a normal magnetic harddisk? Or a SSD? Or a network drive? Or an USB drive? Are the any similar problems within the game? Like hotspots that don't react on clicks? Or objects that seems like they should have hotspots like doors or big paintings but doesn't have a mouseover reaction?

What language version are you playing? Oh - just to be sure - I gues it isn't this problem, right? I also can't save my game. I'm using Win I tried your suggestion to install on another drive.

It currently serves as the Recovery drive. Are there any other alternatives? I don't have any other external drives to use. In the Steam client go to the library and rightclick at the Black Mirror entry. Go into this folder, rightclick at an empty spot on the right side and choose paste.

Start the game from the new folder with a doubleclick at the agds. Start a new game and try to save as soon as you can act. And just to be sure. This is how saving works in Black Mirror 1: Move the cursor into the upper black bar and click at the cogwheel icon that appears if you move the cursor in the upper black bar.
